With the True Blood season 4 set to debut June 26, HBO has released the first eight minutes of the season premiere – and surprise, surprise, Sookie’s gone and gotten herself into a mess of trouble again.

Watch True Blood Season 4 First 8 Minutes Sneak Peek, where Sookie arrives in the world of the fairies, where runs into her old friend, Barry the bellhop, and learns that Claudine is her fairy godmother.

“If your job is to look after me, can I just say you suck?” Sookie says upon hearing the news. “Do you know how many times I could have used a fairy godmother?”

Sookie also spots her Granddaddy Earl, who had disappeared decades before – and wouldn’t you know it, he hasn’t aged a day since Sookie last saw him. For Earl’s part, he’s shocked that Sookie’s turned into a young woman, as he thinks he’s only been with the fairies for a few hours.
